Outta beer, outta here!

I remember the first time I heard this phrase!  A colleague who was leaving the company I was working for a the time, received farewell flowers from her husband with that “love” note.  I thought it was hilarious!

As begin to prepare for my trip to Rio de Janeiro this week, I realized that my bottle of vodka was on its last drop. The Return of Sunday Afternoons

The song was ringing loud in my ear as I tossed and turned on my bed with my eyes still closed looking for my phone. Somehow I was clueless of what day it was until I could make the lyrics of the song being played. It was Richard Smallwood's song, "You are the source of my strength": Ah, it was Sunday! Funny thing: I had no music playing while I slept, no radio, no alarm set to a specific song, nothing... While still lying in bed, I grabbed my phone, clicked on the Facebook app and scrolled through the newsfeed: Father's Day pics of friends, more Father's Day pics and even more Father's Day pics...and then more news of young lives being killed. Sigh....
