We are living in a world that is full of chaos. You no longer have to wait until the 10 o’clock news to come on in order to hear about all the tragedies that are happening not only around you, but all over the world. All you have to do is log into your social media accounts and it is the first thing you see. It is presented during commercials, at your job, no matter where you go, the world and everyone is consumed with fear, stress, worry and anxiety. The more you look at it, the more your heart can grow weary.
You are so unsure of tomorrow and the road ahead begins to get darker and the light you once saw, becomes dim. You look to a friend, your family, your partner for refuge, but if they are looking at the same thing, there isn’t much they can say or do. You have to look to the Lord.
I will leave with this: what you are looking at or focusing on, it is what you will feed into heart. Make sure that it is the promises of God.
