My cough suppressant tastes like forbidden kisses

If you know anything about a Brazilian, we love to kiss for a loooooooooooong time.  We begin to practice the cultural norm at an early age, I’d say 10-11 years old.  Of course that we are not allowed to be lip locking with any boys at that age, but monkey see, monkey do.

I grew up in the slum of City of God, Rio de Janeiro.  Specific candies, especially mints, were very expensive.  We value clean, fresh breath so the only alternative was to buy cough drops. Yes, fresh breath and cold free. Lol.

Today when I popped one of these in mouth, it reminded me of those innocent years.

What are some of your culture norms?
