Keep it on the low

“silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation.” ― Jalaluddin Rumi

This past year, I purposely  kept a few of my affairs very private. I got to experience growth as if I was stranded in a dark cave and the only things I had were my instincts and the voice of the Most High.  The results: I matured in some areas, began to trust myself a bit more and saw another side of the Most High, and myself, that I had not yet seen.

Of course I am all for mentorship and good sound advice from others that promote growth, however, there comes a time in your life where you have listen to the inner voice and trust what you hear.

I also learned that not everyone who sincerely wants the best for you is “mature” enough to understand your current life journey. Learn to recognize that quickly, because it can hinder your growth (Some can be family members).

I became less reactive and more proactive.

Have you ever taken this approach?
