She felt a tug in heart as her friend admired her strength. She began to recall how she entered the world: her father’s fluid spread all over her mother’s vulva, no penetration. Yes, the first act of courage: to come in the “purest” of way. It was a tough journey, between her mother’s thoughts of rejection and the crying desire to abort, she kept on pushing because nothing, not even the fore knowledge of the difficult treads ahead stopped her from her purpose to bloom. As she snapped out of the memories, she said to her friend: “You have to have courage, just that!” Welcome to Sundays Afternoons.
- Grateful – I have to constantly tell myself that I am going to be ok. I believe that even in my mother’s womb I was meditating on these very words. It has helped me maintain the courage to keep going no matter the circumstances and for that I am grateful.
- Waste of time – Being somewhere where you are not happy. I recently got my hair trimmed after almost two years (I know) and my hairdresser said, “Why keep something that is dead?” Go find your happy.
- Something new – White on black makes white, black on white makes black.
Have a great week.
